Recently, I received an RFE on my I-485 application to provide medical examination and vaccination record. However my wife didn't receive the RFE yet. It's been two weeks since I received my RFE. My understanding is that both of us should have received an RFE at the same time? So say your i485 is pending for 6 months but the average time for the FO is 18 months. 18-6 is 12. Your waiting time can be anything between 2-4 weeks and 12 months. In my case the FO took 6 months to process my i485 after I sent them the medicals. Same boat! Haven’t received approval yet but my status was updated to ‘RFE response received’.
